Kyle Klouda
Kyle has held several roles within MSI and as a consultant in the mold-building industry since 2012. In 2022, Kyle was promoted to President. His focus is on growing solid manufacturing processes and acquiring new technologies to help MSI be our customers’ competitive advantage.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and woodworking.

Toby Bral
Toby is a lifelong manufacturing industry expert. With nearly 25 years of experience, he leads the company’s business development efforts.
When he is not selling injection molds, Toby is often seen cheering on his sons, who participate in many different sports, and his favorite college football team, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Production Manager (South Carolina)Curtis McFerron
Curtis grew up around his father‘s machine and tooling company, which made stepping into his role at MSI feel natural. He started with MSI in 1991 at the Iowa plant and moved to the South Carolina facility in 2009.
Outside of work, Curtis spends his time with his family; he is an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoys golf.
Production Manager (Iowa)Chris Waterbury
Chris has been with MSI since 1997. He has held many different positions in the company throughout his career, starting with journeyman toolmaker, EDM specialist, project manager and now production manager.
When Chris is not at work, he is supporting his three kids at sporting events and finding time to hunt, run, and bicycle.
Darin Swartzendruber
Engineering ManagerDarin began his career at MSI in 1993 as a designer trainee. He has taken on a variety of roles within the company before being promoted to Engineering Manager in 2023.
Outside of work, Darin is an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and enjoys a wide range of hands-on hobbies, including woodworking, fishing, hiking, and working outdoors. Above all, he values quality time with his family.
Carman Beauregard
ControllerCarman joined the MSI team in early 2026 as Controller. She brings 19 years of manufacturing experience along with 6 years in finance. In addition to her professional background, Carman and her family own a construction business in the Cedar Rapids area.
Outside of work, Carman enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active through exercise.
Human Resource ManagerKaren Weber
Karen has been with MSI since 2016. She started as a Human Resources Coordinator with 6 years of experience and has worked hard to achieve the Human Resources Manager role.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters who keep them busy with dance and softball.
Dan Leonard
Director of OperationDan started his career with MSI in 2026 and brings over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
His goal is to drive efficiency through the facility by utilizing technology and LEAN principles.
When Dan is not at work he stays busy working on his hobby farm, fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with family.

MSI’s Advisory Board is lead by Roger Klouda, who was president for 34 years. During this time, Roger was integral in the company’s business success and expansion.
